Northern California native, Krista Giovara, is a mom to four, stepmom to three and wife to one. After enduring an unexpected open heart surgery a few years back, Krista now makes an effort to enjoy life to the fullest: raising seven active kids, wake surfing, serving as a chair for the League to Save Lake Tahoe and writing about it all. One of the many things she’s learned from her journey as a stepmom and mom of a large blended family, is that all of the chaos, hard times and challenges make for some damn good (and often hilarious) inspiration for her writing. Best of all, it’s served to make her family an incredibly tight unit.
